Production Engineer (Day Shift)

We are on the lookout for a Production Engineer to work Day Shifts with a fantastic Electrical manufacturing company based in Gloucestershire!
Responsibilities:
- Converting customer supplied data into programs for production machinery.
- Respond to breakdowns and perform maintenance tasks
- Liaise and communicate with other departments, managers, and customers.
- Producing operator assembly guides, production aids and jigs
- Support installation of machinery and equipment
- Ensure product and process quality meets the required specification.
- Contribute to CI, NPI and DFM activities / Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
Requirements:
- Competency with Computer Aided Manufacturing packages for printed circuit board assembly.
- Ability to plan and manage capital projects.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite, Drawing packages, Gerber data.
- Experience of stencil design and ordering.
- Familiar with ERP systems and BOM’s.
- Knowledge of oven profiles and screen-printing process.
- Ability to plan and manage capital projects.
