It is essential that all applicants have a minimum of 3 years work experience in the UK. Sponsorship is not provided with this role. Mandarin language is preferred. Candidates without any Treasury Sales unfortunately cannot be submitted. 

Our client is looking for a Treasury Sales to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is 5 days a week in the office.

Role:

As part of the Treasury Products Sales Team, you will partner with Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions in developing and maintaining client relationships and gaining client trades.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Promote treasury products, including formulation and execution of sales strategies to drive Treasury sales performance across corporate, FI and NBFI clients and market counterparties.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients / counterparties, formulate and execute marketing strategies to forge new client relationships, and work with Client-Onboarding team to onboard them.
  • Perform periodic reviews for existing clients / counterparties to satisfy KYC and AML requirements.
  • Organise client meetings, perform analysis on clients’ business needs, proactively identify sales opportunities and then follow through with execution.
  • Get involved in market research, credit analysis, product development, and new business initiatives to enhancement Treasury’s client trading, market making, bond trading, green bond issuance and liquidity management capabilities.
  • Ensure that sales & marketing are carried out in adherence with the bank's policies & procedures, including but not limited to Risk and Compliance.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Treasury / FX sales.
  • Good understanding of FX products, dealing and FX workflows from execution to settlement.
  • Good knowledge of money market products, bond, IRS and CCS would be an advantage.
  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in economics, finance, business or related discipline.
  • Holder of CFA qualification would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and capable of delivering quality results under tight deadlines, either independently or as part of a team.
  • Eager to work with other Treasury colleagues (e.g. traders and business managers) to develop business, manage risk, share knowledge and maximise efficiency & profitability.
