Polytec are looking for a Software Engineer for our client based in Royston on a 12-month contract. You will be part of an agile team for detailed design, implementation, integration and testing of C# software components.
Responsibilities:
* Active participation in agile ceremonies
* Design, implementation, documentation and unit-testing of software components
* Involvement in frequent peer reviews of designs, documents and code
Requirements:
* Industrial experience in software development within a quality-conscious environment
* Ability to contribute to peer review, regular build, unit test and integration testing activities
* C# and .NET (Framework and Core) including latest language extensions
* Common patterns and libraries
* Visual Studio 2022, Resharper
* Git version control; Pull Requests
* Unit Testing
* Clear communication skills
