TR2 Recruitment are currently hiring for Service Maintenace Engineers for a Agricultural and Construction company based near Bristol.   The client’s company is a family run business and represents a leading Agricultural and Construction company.  The client is looking for independent and confident individuals with a strong background in Plant, Electrics, Hydraulics and Mechanics. 

Van and full card will provided for all candidates. 

Day to day duties and responsibilities. 

• Service, repair and maintain plant and other agricultural machinery to manufacturers specifications and to ensure machine reliability and safety. 
• Have a keen eye for detail, reporting machine defects and upselling the services provided by the company wherever possible. 
• Successfully diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain and various other faults prior to initiating and completing repair. 
• Follow company "Service Master" diagnostic software via laptop computer. 
• Complete work reports including supporting photographs. 
• Competition of risk assessments 
• Accurately ordering parts 
• Working closely with the service department and management team. 

Successful candidates will benefit to commission on certain jobs as and when new jobs and issues arise of the machines they are fixing. 

Ideal candidates will have. 

• Relevant Service Engineer experience and qualifications. (City and Guild, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) 
• Experience working on Construction, Agricultural plant, diesel engines, electric, hydraulics, transmissions and fault finding. 
• Good IT skills 
• Time Management - Ability to set timescales to own tasks to enable completion of duties. 
• Presentation - always present a professional image. 
• Candidates MUST carry a full driving licence as well as can operate machinery on site for testing purposes. (training can be given for the right candidate)
