Job Role:
Reporting directly to the Team Leader of the machine shop.
Programming, setting and operation CNC Milling machines to achieve efficient manufacture of components from engineering drawings.
Rsponsibilities include:
Manufacturing a range of components in mild steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel.
Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of all areas within their section.
Reporting faults with equipment.
Maintain equipment.
Retrain where needed to develop the business.
Undertaking any other role given within their capabilities.
Essential:
The successful candidate would have at least 3 years’ minimum experience in manufacturing and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
Able to read Engineering drawings.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to work with own initiative and as a team player.
Desirable:
Knowledge of inspection equipment.
Working Hours:
Days Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm. Friday 7.30am-12.30pm.
