With significant opportunities for future growth, they wish to appoint a highly motivated Managing Director to take this ambitious business to the next level.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Group Head of Division, and with full P&L accountability, responsibility is for the inspirational leadership and performance of the business, setting strategic direction and delivering the company’s commercial, operational and financial growth objectives. You will lead the team from the front in driving the highest levels of performance, enabling a culture of excellence across all disciplines. Standards are high, so your challenge will be to take this already excellent company to greater levels of success, utilising your motivational leadership and vision, industry experience and expertise, commercial and operational awareness and a focus on enhancing revenue and margin opportunities at all times. People development, key customer engagement, asset purchase, disposal and optimisation, cost management and continuous business improvement will also be high on your agenda.

• An impressive track record of achievement in leading teams, enhancing business growth and operational efficiency in a vehicle rental/contract hire arena
• An experienced Director or Regional/Area Manager looking for your next exciting career development step
• A commercially astute strategic thinker with exceptional knowledge of the vehicle rental sector, achieving target business objectives on a consistent basis
• Excellent relationship building, presentation and negotiation skills to drive commercial performance and profitability to new levels
