Senior Fire Risk Assessor

A professional, UK wide Multidisciplinary consultancy are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Fire Risk Assessor to their team in Birmingham, working on projects across the country, mainly south of the midlands.
The Senior Fire Risk Assessor Role
You will conduct fire risk assessment across a variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial.
All the data will be collected in a concise manner using a bespoke technology / on a tablet so it is easily organised and accessed.
Both consultancy and/or ex-fire service/ fire rescue services are welcomed.
Fire Risk Assessor Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inspections and remedial works
- Must be expert in fire safety legislation, including Regulatory Reform
- Ensure buildings conform to the latest fire related building regulations
- Writing up schedules of work
- Preparing specifications, obtain estimates, planning programmes of work, monitoring work on site and assuring compliance with specification
- Work within budget and working to deadlines
- Advise on Building Regulations Approval on Fire related queries
- Authorise and sign off Fire Risk Assessments before submitting to clients
- Annual internal audits on Fire Risk Assessors
Fire Risk Assessor Skills / Qualifications
- Level 4 in Fire Risk Management
- IFE approved fire risk assessment
- IFE, IFSM or FRACS (Tier 3 minimum IFSM)
- Driving license
- Previous experience in similar position(s)
