Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalised support to students with ASD, cultivating an inclusive and empathetic learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement and customise educational strategies catering to the distinct needs of each student.
  • Nurture positive connections with students, championing their social and emotional growth.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Work closely with the teaching team to uphold a supportive and captivating classroom ambience.
  • Track and document student progress, ensuring effective communication with parents and caregivers.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a support role within the educational or related sectors.
  • A sincere passion for working with students with ASD, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of their diverse needs.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective engagement with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Agility and adaptability to thrive in the dynamic setting of special education.
  • Beneficial to possess relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
