Position Overview
Our client is global leader in aeronautics, space, and related services, committed to providing innovative solutions to customers worldwide. They are dedicated to advancing technology and maintaining excellence in the aerospace industry and are currently seeking a Technical Author to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for the production and support of Maintenance & Material-related products (e.g., AMM, TSM, IPC) to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of aircraft tailored to customer needs. This includes updating and maintaining the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Parts Catalogue, and Troubleshooting documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations and quality standards.
- Manage authoring activities and serve as a technical focal point.
- Oversee subcontracted technical data and services.
- Validate and verify maintenance, troubleshooting, material, and wiring procedures.
- Contribute to design criteria assessment and integration.
- Provide continuous customer support and ensure timely delivery of products.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical expertise in aircraft maintenance and data systems.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and quality standards.
- Proven track record in managing subcontracted activities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Knowledge of fuel systems preferred.
- Experience with Maintenance and Troubleshooting manuals.
