This over-subscribed school serves the local community and has been graded 'Good' in its most recent Ofsted inspection. Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join this dynamic and dedicated team from September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to develop their careers in a supportive and progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and innovative English lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.

Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it (suitable for ECTs).

Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement.

Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
