Responsibilities of Machinists
- Operate and maintain a group of machines within a complex manufacturing system.
- Working to tight tolerances
- CNC Turning and milling.
- Own Quality inspection – measuring own parts.
- Utilising grinding and polishing machines
- Gear cutting and heat treatment.
- Working on automated systems
- Set and Operate – No programming.
- Working a 3-shift system – nights is 4 nights, Mon - Thurs
Requirements for Machinists
- Apprentice trained to Level 3, or other engineering qualifications considered.
- To have worked in a fast paced, automated environment
- CNC turning knowledge, but CNC Milling experience also readily considered.
- Strong machining skills
- This would suit ambitious, energetic, initiative-taking individuals, who are looking for an incredibly special long-term career.
