We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer with proven technical design skills & experience working on Console titles, to join our award-winning team.

 This is an exciting opportunity to work on a AAA IP where you will be responsible for implementing companion characters into the game and owning features from prototype phase and taking them into production. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of passionate and experienced designers on a AAA project.

 




RESPONSIBILITIES

  • ·        Create and maintain documentation for all owned features.
  • ·        Taking ownership and responsibility for setting up and implementing companion characters into the game.
  • ·        Keep to project vision for best practices, methodologies used and quality benchmark.
  • ·        Work within the wider design team to champion best technical practices.
  • ·        As part of reviews, able to provide constructive critique and solutions.
  • ·        Ability to self-motivate as-well-as motivate other members of the team.

Requirements

  • ·        Experience working as a Technical Designer on at least one published console title.
  • ·        Experience with technical design work related to implementing game characters.
  • ·        Proven experience working within Unreal Engine 5.
  • ·        Strong Proficiency with Character Behaviour Trees.
  • ·        Proven experience working with character animations and character A.I.
  • ·        Strong proficiency at scripting with Blueprints.
  • ·        Be able to take a feature from the vision phase to prototype and then into production.
  • ·        Be able to communicate with artists, programmers, and animators.
  • ·        Enjoys a creative challenge with the passion and motivation to make great games
  • ·        Experience of helping to plan and schedule workflows.
