Health & Saftey Advisor

Our client are looking for a health & safety advisor to join their growing team working on site in Cambridge.

  • You will be working with/supporting our H&S Manager in the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the H&S management system.
  • Review RAMS and safe systems of work.
  • Carry out site H&S inspections to identify unsafe equipment, working conditions, practices, fire hazards and then produce reports using ‘Safety Culture’ software with recommendations regarding the correction of any noncompliance.
  • Attend H&S meetings with Senior Managers and Directors.
  • Produce and present reports for management review of all data and trends analysis and work with all employees as necessary to achieve KPI’s.
  • Assist in the implementation of the Health & Safety Management System to BS ISO 45001: 2018.
  • Manage accident and incident reporting and associated paperwork.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in this position
  • Driving licence due to having to travel to other offices
  • NEBOSH National Construction Certificate (or working towards it), in addition Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice (would be an advantage).
  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office Packages
  • Have a good understanding of CDM Regulations and H&S compliance
