Job Description: As a Pastoral Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being of our students and contributing to the positive school environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with students to provide emotional support and guidance.
- Assisting in the implementation of pastoral care programs to enhance student welfare.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to address the individual needs of students.
- Monitoring and promoting positive behaviour and resolving conflicts as needed.
- Organizing and participating in extracurricular activities that contribute to the overall development of students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a pastoral or support role within an educational setting is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and understanding of the diverse needs of students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
