Job Title: Freelance Site Manager

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join our client's team.

As a Freelance Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the site to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

The Company:

Our client is a specialist roofing and building contractor who provide solutions for commercial and industrial premises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations on sites, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, tradespeople, and site personnel to ensure smooth project progression.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential risks, hazards, or compliance issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage site documentation, including permits, drawings, specifications, and progress reports.
• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, clients, and project managers, to achieve project objectives and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions to promote a culture of safety and ensure all personnel are aware of relevant procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

• Roofing experience is beneficial but not essential
• Must have proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
• Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
• Valid First Aid certification.
• Valid Fire Marshal training or certification.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, construction processes, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• This is a freelance position with potential opportunity to develop onto a permanent role.
• Candidates must have their own transportation
