The Client

Our client is at the fore front of the subcontract precision engineering sector. Due to growth, they now require a CMM Inspector.

The Role:

  • Use inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers, PI tapes and CMM or Faro.
  • Program CMM and report relevant data.
  • Inspection of goods in, goods out, subcontract work and all purchased parts.
  • Magnetic Particle Inspection.
  • In process and finished goods inspection.
  • Process auditing.
  • Calibration of measuring equipment.
  • Signing first and last inspection reports.
  • Reporting of non-conforming parts.
  • Working 4-day week, 37 hours Monday-Thursday.

The Person:

  • Previous inspection experience essential.
  • Must be able to program CMM machine.
  • Use of measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, thickness and echo meters.
  • Proven ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good housekeeping.
