Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Fire Damper & Air Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a Fire Damper & Air Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Fire Damper & Air Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Fire Damper & Air Engineer, will be responsible for:

  • Capable of working to high levels of health and safety and statutory requirements
  • Carry out PPM, reactive calls and Small Works on Fire & Security Systems within their region as required
  • Monitor completion and attendance of certification to customers service level agreements
  • Support the Regional Service Manager and Service Desk
  • Ensure region is up to date with all relevant works. 

To be successful for this Fire Damper & Air Engineer role you must have: 

  • The ideal candidate would have a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role carrying out PPM
  • Reactive calls and Small Works in the Fire & Security industry. 
  • You should have a minimum of 1 years' experience in supporting engineering teams
  • Have a high level of numeracy and literacy
  • Physically able to carry out the fuller duties detailed in the job description.
