Do you have electrical experience, and are you seeking a new position in the Coventry area? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is working with an Iconic Brand who are developing an EV Motorcycles seeking an Automotive Electrical Technician to work on the test, development and prototype build of their new vehicle range. 

As an Automotive Electrical Technician, you will work closely with the Engineering Team to support prototype build, testing and development activities on Electric and ICE Motorcycles. You will build and test electrical wiring harnesses and HV cable assemblies for testing and prototype vehicle build.

In your first few weeks in this Automotive Electrical Technician role, you can expect to:

• Undertake fault finding and diagnosis of electrical faults
• Support final assembly build of prototype LV and V systems, including making HV systems live
• Support electrical benchmarking activities, including strip-down of competitor vehicles.

To apply for this Automotive Electrical Technician role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• A formally assessed electrical qualification at a suitable level
• Experience using typical computer software to communicate, record data and perform office tasks
• Experience building, assembling and testing wiring harnesses from electrical schematics
• Experience building and testing HV cable assemblies
• Working experience at the level of an Authorised Person with HV systems in accordance with industry standards.
