We are now looking for a Part Time (Mon-Fri- 10am-2pm) Learning and Development Administrator to join us.

Role Summary: As part of the Training Team, this role will help ensure training is booked in at a timely manner, delivering our training strategy and provide training and on-the-job support for business operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan training in a timely manner to ensure priority deadlines are met
  • Maintain training records and training system and upload any relevant documentation
  • Prepare paperwork and set up systems for courses and training
  • Monitor site compliance within the business
  • Assist with production of training KPIs and ensure information is sent to relevant departments
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other necessary training material
  • Process any training requests and communicate with the training team
  • Deliver training to employees and agency workers in matters relating to product quality, food safety, legality and health and safety
  • Assist with assessing competence and raise any concerns with the relevant supervisor/manager
  • To monitor adherence to processes and procedures and provide re-training or escalate to management as required
  • Ensure any refresher training is delivered in a timely manner and against training plan
  • Ensure all training design and delivery is compliant with any relevant technical and safety standards
  • Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOW’s and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
  • Carry out inductions for new starters
  • Gain knowledge and understanding of the equipment in the pack house to enable training delivery
  • Provide support in absence of Training Manager

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in Manual Handling and Risk Assessments (desirable)
  • Presentation Skills

  • Excellent organisational skills
