3rd Line Core Apps Support Engineer is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 6 months rolling contract, to be based in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
Responsibilities & Skills:
- The successful applicant will be an experienced 3rd Line Core Applications Support Engineer
- As a Core Applications Engineer you will assist the customer directly
- The role will primarily involve incident management escalated from 2nd line team and you will be responsible for resolving these on the customer's live systems
- The 3rd Line Core Application Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining a complex secure solution
- Additional responsibilities will include delivering infrastructure development and testing of upgrades, patches and new software solutions.
- SharePoint - Server management, SharePoint permissions, SharePoint Application integration
- Strong PowerShell and other scripting experience
- As many of the following as possible: VMWare Horizon View VDI, VSphere virtualization, Group Policy management, Microsoft SKYPE server, File Share and NTFS permissions, NGINX, Microsoft Server 2012\2016 Hyper-V, Exchange 2013/2016
