Description
We are working with a Structural Steel Manufacturer who are looking for a Operations Manager to join their site based in Llandrindod Wells.
Responsibilities/The Candidate
- Experience/background working in structural steel on different projects.
- Experience/background in the day to day running of a steel fabrication environment.
- Experience within Fabrication, Welding, Planned, Preventative Maintenance and repair.
- Responsible for the entire site including Engineering, H&S, People, Costs, Production, Quality, Technical and Training/Upskilling.
- Ensure Daily, Weekly and Monthly KPI targets are up to date and achieved in an efficient manner and forecast production planning.
- Communicating with the design team ensuring they are working towards the same timings for each project.
- Working with the procurement team ensure material quotes are in line with budget.
- Ensuring all toolbox talks are carried out by each Team Leader and Supervisor.
- Experience in reviewing and implementing new CI and Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
The Salary
- Up to £80,000
