An opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a regional construction company based in the East Midlands region and working across the East Anglian and East Midlands regions. The company have grown and developed through quality of service and building a reputation for on time delivery of works.

This role will involve supporting project teams to deal with safety matters on site as well as inspections, site meetings and assisting with audits. It is an important part of the role that candidates are able to liaise and work with key members of the project and on-site teams to provide practical and sound advice. This could involve producing accident reports as well as investigations.

As an autonomous role reporting directly to the Health and Safety Manager you will be the primary point of contact for projects in the Cambridgeshire, South Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Northamptonshire areas. A key part of the role will be to influence change and build strong relationships with both management teams and project delivery teams.
Candidates should have experience of working within the construction industry and has a track record of building sustainable relationships with Contracts Teams and Site Managers. CDM knowledge is essential and working across a range of projects. Experience of ISO management systems would be advantageous.

It would be ideal if candidates have a NEBOSH Diploma but NEBOSH Construction Certificate would be The ability to travel throughout the region is required as well as some time in the office but the company provide agile working.
