Are you a talented Mechanical Engineer with a passion for the water sector? Our client, a prestigious national tier 1 contractor, is seeking a skilled individual to join their team as a Mechanical Engineer based out of Birmingham, working across projects for Severn Trent Water.

About the Role: As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative solutions within the water industry. Collaborating with a dynamic team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing mechanical systems and processes across a range of projects for Severn Trent Water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and engineering of mechanical systems for water infrastructure projects
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess mechanical installations
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery

About You: We're seeking candidates with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with experience within the water sector. You'll have a solid understanding of mechanical systems and processes, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Additionally, candidates with experience working with Severn Trent Water or similar water utilities will be highly advantageous.
